A lure retriever is a weighted fishing tool that travels down the fishing line to dislodge or pull a snagged lure free from rocks, timber, vegetation or debris. It helps recover valuable tackle that might otherwise be cut loose.
How is LuresBack different from chain-style retrievers?
LuresBack uses a compact hydrodynamic body and angled catching plate instead of loose chains. Its two attachment rings stabilise it on the line, while the weighted nose and catching plate provide both pushing and pulling recovery methods.
Can I use it from the bank or a boat?
Yes. It is designed for bank, bridge, boat, kayak and ice fishing. Water movement, line angle and the obstacle will affect reach, so always use controlled pressure.
Which lure types can it recover?
It can be used with many hard lures, spoons, spinners and other rigs with accessible hardware. Recovery always depends on the snag, lure construction and whether the retriever can reach the lure.
What main-line diameter fits the regular model?
